More than a boat, IBOAT is now settled in Bordeaux territory as an independent cultural operator, carrying a curious and ambitious cultural policy. At the crossroads of artistic, musical and digital disciplines, since 2011 IBOAT contribute for the development of cultural projects at the local or national level around with artists, associations, cultural business gravitate, on the boat but also on land.

An artistic residency and production office on a platform bringing together independent cultural’s actors is also under study as well as a concert hall (black box) and an art gallery / rehearsal studio for residences (white box). These projects are expected to emerge in 2021.

Alongside TRAFIC association, IBOAT intervenes on public orders for municipal arts centers events (CAPC, CDCN Manufacture), museums (Museum of decorative Arts and Design, Base Sous Marine) or at events such as Digital Week.

IBOAT now responds to a philosophy and a requirement for construction project and event deployment. Through an artistic and creative vision, the crew is mobilised to implement their skills in artistic and strategic direction, support for artists and projects, creation and production of events - communication, mediation, social media, monitoring ans content productions.
